The controversy between social media figures VeryDarkMan (VDM) and Nedu Wazobia has taken a new turn, with VDM releasing a voice note from content creator Lucky Udu, who shared a troubling experience with Nedu
In the recording, Udu recounted a difficult period when his platform faced heavy criticism, resulting in lost business opportunities and a damaged reputation. To address the situation, his manager suggested that he appear on Nedu’s Honest Bunch podcast. However, during their phone conversation, Udu claimed that Nedu dismissed his work outright, stating that he neither knew nor cared about his content.
According to Udu, Nedu belittled his platform, insisted that he should “humble” himself, and pressured him to appear on the podcast alongside his critic, GehGeh. Udu refused, arguing that engaging in such a public confrontation would legitimize bad behavior. He also expressed how Nedu’s words negatively impacted his self-esteem and professional standing, forcing him to lay off ten employees due to financial setbacks.
This revelation follows recent allegations involving content creator JoJo, whom VDM claimed had an inappropriate relationship with Nedu in exchange for career opportunities. JoJo, however, strongly denied the accusations, asserting that her success was built through hard work and consistency, with no involvement from Nedu. She also criticized the narrative that undermined her achievements. (Source)
VDM, who has been vocal in his criticism of Nedu, warned that he may expose further details if the situation escalates. He accused Nedu of prioritizing sensationalism over meaningful discussions on his podcast. (Source)
As tensions continue to rise, the public is watching closely for any further developments.
