British-Nigerian actor Damson Idris revealed about his other career path, if he wasn’t acting
He revealed that if he hadn’t pursued acting, he stated that he would have been an age-grade football coach.
In a recent interview with American outlet, Essence, Damson Idris said that if he wasn’t an actor, he would teach little kids how to play football.
“If I wasn’t an actor, I would teach little kids football which is soccer to my American friends”, he said.
Idris stated that beyond the limelight, he has a soft spot for food, revealing that his favorite dish ‘Jollof rice’, paired with nice beef stew and well fried plantains.
Idris credits his mother as the ultimate chef. “My favourite meal is jollof rice with beef stew and plantain. And my mum makes it the best,” he emphasized.
Speaking on his starstruck moments, he revealed that his first celebrity crush was Halle Berry, and when it comes to male actors, the late Sidney Poitier holds a special place in his heart.
