An orphaned baby d!ed days after being delivered prematurely following an Israeli airstrike. The infant, named Sabreen Rouh in honour of her late mother, survived only a few days. 
Sabreen al-Sakani al-Sheikh, who was 30 weeks pregnant, suffered serious injuries during the attack on their home in Rafah. Tragically, Sabreen, her husband Shukri, and their three-year-old daughter Malak lost their lives.
Despite the efforts of medical professionals, the baby girl succumbed to respiratory problems and a weak immune system, passing away at Emirati Hospital.
The toll of the conflict in Gaza is evident, with over 34,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, killed in the ongoing six-month war between Israel and Hamas militants. The already strained healthcare system in Gaza has been further overwhelmed by the destruction of hospitals and shortages of essential supplies.
